"The True North, Strong and Free"

This limited edition print was created by renowned Canadian artist and photographer Silvia Pecota.
The image was digitally created by combining photography with oil painting and
is printed on archival, watercolour paper.

Inspired by the art of classical antiquity and the French Romantic painter Delacroix,
Silvia Pecota created this work entitled, "The True North, Strong and Free".
It is an allegory; depicting Canada as a young, beautiful and stoic figure standing proudly holding the flag of this great country.

O Canada!
Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!

This image was initially printed as a postcard and dedicated to our soldiers, sailors and aircrew
who have placed themselves in harm's way in the service of peace.

There are 500 (12” x 16”) limited edition prints, numbered and signed by artist Silvia Pecota.
Each print is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
